Wrong apartment. Wrong key. Aggressive management.

The title is literal. I was shown a model apartment with the floor plan I wanted and was shown on a map of the complex where my new apartment was. I signed the lease at the end of the day and walked up to my new apartment! But the number on the door was wrong' I tried the key, but it didn't work. Turns out I startled the tenants of that apartment and mine was on the other side of the hall, the south side that I specifically said I wanted to avoid because of summer heat. "Well that sucks" I thought, as I tried to unlock the door to the apartment I said I didn't want. But it didn't work in that door either. They said they change locks because previous tenants could duplicate keys and get back in. But they forgot to install the new lock in my door so I was locked out for the night (the office had just closed). They apparently didn't actually care about security though, because it was a gated apartment (another lock controlled entry to the apartments) and it was the same key for all tenants, but it never got changed..
After a month they hadn't treated me too well so I decided to leave. Because I had been there a month they wanted electricity etc. for that month, but gave me bills starting before I actually moved in (because of the bad key). Because they'd treated me poorly I told them to fix the mistake, I wasn't paying an electric bill that started before I moved in, especially since the heat was on to 70 degrees when they fixed the lock and let me in. They told me "We don't make mistakes." Since that was nonsensical I explained she had just made one and her voice got even louder. There's a police station there, and a cop who happened to be in the room heard her and for some reason assumed she was right, so he came over and glared at me and crossed his arms.
So I paid for the one month of rent and didn't pay the electricity bill. They sold it to some collection agency who yells at me and makes just as much sense as the la salle management, and it's hurting my credit now. I will most likely have to pay for their mistake just so the one mark on my credit report will go away.
I'm rating Construction 2 stars because the kitchen sink faucet flexed the stainless steel sink when it was moved, and Maintenance 1 star because they locked me out of my apartment.

I'm a residence here, and this isn't a gated community. It's not the best but this person is obviously lying.

I could have been more specific.. There are multiple 'sections' in the la salle complex, and the one I was in is gated.
There was a remote to open the gate to the parking, and the door to the apartments from the gated parking is the "another lock" I was referring to.
I searched for "la salle apartments beaverton" on google which shows this: http://www.equityapartments.com/portland/beaverton/lasalle.aspx
Read the floorplan names; they are by themselves or followed by (Townhome) or (Controlled Access). If you still think I'm lying, just go to the building on the North end of the complex, near the MAX stop.

There is a controlled access building on the community owned by lasalle, it's near the max and the building is a different color. We also had a similar experience with the management team, just like you we saw the model and was expecting a bottom unit and came back in two days to pick up the keys, only to hear that the unit was rented and they blamed a computer glitch. A month later received a nasty letter stating that we owed 16 dollars in water, garbage and sewer due to prorated dates when we moved in. The manager never meet with us eventhough I made time to go in and address the inquiry with her and was sent another letter for eviction. My lease, shows what we paid in total including prorated rates to move in. Basically, that's how stupid and it was rude they are, no apologies were made. Now, I make them give me receipts for everything and they can keep rolling their eyes until it gets stuck cause it's their jobs! We pay their salaries! What ever happened to customer service is it hanging up at the Portland Art Museum, lol! Jesus!
