We were roped into a lease and now we are trying to find our way out of it. There are several issues we have, and I am curious to see how we can get out of a 12 month committment. Anyone have an answer to that'
I see other reviews, the mud, I have seen it too. You walk out in the grass over by Teal and you sink into the ground. It is swamp land over there. The whole idea of having a rule aobut being quiet after 10-- does not apply to this place.

This is how you get out of a 12-month lease: I moved into a "luxury" apartment complex too...luxury my ass. So here's what you do: tell them you have cockroaches. They'll immediately (if you raise a stink) send out the Terminix folks to do their thing. Find a cockroach and put it in a plastic bag and take it to the management after the exterminators come and tell them that you do not want to live in a bug-infested hell hole and that you will sue them if they do not break your lease without charging you the pile of cahs that they do. It worked for me (plus I hated my roommate, so it worked out that too). Seriously, if this doesn't work for you, let me know, I think it's foolproof.

This was a really long time ago so this person has probably already gotten out of their lease, but for anyone ever looking to get out of a lease, use craigslist, get someone to TAKE OVER your lease, granted you wont get your deposit back the people taking over your place will, but hey, its a hell of a lot cheaper than paying each month for breaking your contract, and if you want out of your apartment community bad enough, then it will be well worth it.
