I've lived at the Meridian for almost three years now and love my apartment. I have a great view of Mt.Hood and enjoy all the light that comes into my corner 1 bdrm apartment.
My neighbors are quite and I only hear them when they are out on their balcony chatting it up.

I have noticed the floors are creaky in spots so I suggest you obtain a top floor apartment if you don't want to hear footsteps above you. The pool and workout facility is better than most apartments I have seen. Although they could use some newer aerobic machines the ones they have are pretty ragged.

I haven't had any problems with the staff in the office and the maintenance crew fixes problems within 24 hours. The grass on the grounds is really soggy to walk on although it is not the type of lawn you want to stroll along or lay down on and have a picnic since it is the pooping grounds for all the dogs in the complex. Overall the grounds are well kept throughout the year, I actually think they are very nice for an apartment complex.

They have increased my rent $25 every year upon signing a year lease. So if you don't plan on signing a yearly lease expect to pay $50-$100 more in rent a month. That may be standard for a large management company like Guardian. Prior to living here I always rented from private owners which seem to be more conservative with their rent rates/increases.

Overall I am verry happy with the Meridian. I want to live here until I can afford a home of my own.
