First of all, I am not your typical "renter". Although I own a sprawling 4000 square foot home on Cooper Mountain, my soon to be "Ex"-wife and I ammicably chose to split up.

I was skeptical about any community meeting my standards- plus, I hadn't rented an apartment since my college days.

When I walked into the Meridian office I immediately felt like my needs were important. I described what I was looking for, and was shown something that had a lot of character.

I have lived on the top floor with very little to complain about. I have only needed maintenance once, and the maintenance guy came in on a Sunday!

I've been told that I am meticulous and high maintenance myself- but the staff always acts as if my needs are number one on their priority list.

I will continue to live at the Meridian for one more reason- the new smoke-free policy. I really appreciate management looking out for my health and my kids when they come to visit me.

Thanks to the Meridian, this transition into being a single father hasn't been rough at all.
