Quatama Crossing

quatama expirience From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/6/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   Well I live there. I still have a lot of questions. I pay alot of money to there and when I signed the lease I was told that my utilities should only cost around 40.00 ha ha! I pay more like 150.00 plus 15.00 for covered parking ( that is a mess) oh and don't you dare have car trouble Quatama has no patience for cars that don't run correctly. There was a shooting the other night. Bullets flying! swear to god! Talked to the manager she backed her security guards all the way but I am a trained security guard and my opinion is alot different. The shooting happened during a drunken drug infused party that started early in the night and there was no security ! The Beaverton cops are slow thats why they didn't catch the shooter but thats my opinion. Two days after that shooting I came back and I had witnessed a hit and run (not the first). I just purchased a car and I am very uncomfortable with the parking I am going to ask the manager if I can add my own security cameras. The apartments are real nice but, I had to sign a paper saying I was responsable for mold' There is a restriction on dog breeds and pit bull was one of them but they are everywhere you go. I had to call security once to report a toddler running around the parking lot at night but those people are always loseing their kid around the complex. When I first moved to Quatama there was a drunk woman that would call me names for no reason and she would throw her butts over the balcony and blame it on me when the tenants below her questioned her, but shes gone now. yay I don't really like how people are always moving in or moving out. once there was a fight bewtween two women and it almost turned into riot, chairs were flying! where was security that night huh' ok enough complaining, Quatama is very annoying but I see potential so I hope that some nice families move in and kind of "take over" . I think there are too many party people right now, parties and get togethers are cool its just that some people get too carried away by far! mayby Quatama will start being more careful about who they let live there. I hope . I plan on staying as a long as I can and I'm a fair person so hopefuly this won't scare good people from coming cuase thats what this place needs the most. Its really great having the max near by that was one of my favorite things about the area. There are lots of trees around and I hope they can stay cuase when I first moved there I had this beautiful veiw now I wake up to construction and loud noises. Also when moving to Quatama Crossing you might want to consider the trash. If your apartment is located by the trash you will hear loud noises due to people throwing crap away all night. Also the compactor and the fact that the garbage piles up until its spills out constantly. yuck! recycle hmm' there is really no space inside the apartments to save up matierials so I imagine its just a big hassle for alot of busy people. last but not least the monthly newsletter, wow. Every month we get this newsletter it is weird its like suppost to be instructions for us ignorant folks. Jan. everybody take down your Christamas ornaments of course there are still plenty of them, I don't have a problem with that. This month's newsletter said please don't hang luandry out on the balconies. why not' it saves energy' people do it anyway' why not' because it looks bad to Simpson property group' they say its because it looks bad to potential tenants. In my opininion they need to get it together. mayby keep better track of who and what kinds of people they are leasing these apartments out to. There are alot of people at Quatama and I hope that the new tenants can be respectful thats all I ask. So don't throw your garbage in the hall. Don't have friends over that might cause damage to other tenants cars. please no identity or mail theifs. thats all I ask. thanks !
