The mamangement is really really bad here, my wife lived here until we were married.
I reviewed her paperwork with her, she had First & last months rent paid for a 2 bedroom which she lived in for several years, then moved into a 1 bedroom. The new lease carried forward the deposits with management signatures (we have the carbon copy).
Now 1 year later we are receiving threating phone calls to call our neighbors and family to tell them that my wife skipped out on the apartment. We gave written 30 day notice. Spent 6 hours scrubbing floors, wall, bathroom, kitchen, garage. The place was spotless. They are trying to charge us for cleaning fees ($100 for smudges on bathroom mirror, $150 candle smoke on walls, etc adding up to a hefty amount, all bogus) They are saying that their records do not show her paying any deposits and that she owes last months rent (rent on 1 bedroom was $650, she paid last months for the 2 bedroom = $735 more than the one bedroom). We have payment stubs showing the payments, we have a contract showing the reciept of the monies, yet because they can't "find" them in their records, my wife never paid it, according to them.
DO NOT RENT HERE, they will try to rip you off!!!!! They are rude and dishonest.
We are ready to file harrasement charges against the Washington office, they are relentless and do not listen. Also the place is falling apart, the windows do not open easily, the locks on the doors are worn out, the kitchen countertops are rotting, the place is a mess, they never clean the pool, the bottom gets green junk growing on it, the hot tubs are alway dirty. You are better off looking else where.
