My boyfriend and I have been looking at a bunch of apartments in this area.
We decided to check out this property because we thought it looked nice.
Beforehand, I had come online and checked out some of the reviews.
I read the review that had stated their security deposit had been deposited. etc...
While we were at the apartments someone was checking out the garage spacing and had already put down a deposit and filled out an application.
The man said that the garage wouldn't work therefore he wanted his deposit back.
The lady told him that they had the right to approve him and therefore the money may have already been cleared and she would have to check and get back to him.
I think the man was a little upset and surprised, but he didn't say anything I think because my boyfriend and I were in the leasing office right next to him at the time.
Needless to say, I am glad I read what I did about Reflections at Summer Creek.
I experienced it first hand just touring the apartments.
My boyfriend and I will be finding a different place to live.
Not just based on this happening... but because the apartments were very small compared to others in the same area with our price range.
And it was VERY expensive to rent a smaller apartment with the upgrades.
For example, I could get a larger apartment with pretty much the same upgrades, a roman tub, another walk in closet, all for under the price they have their upgraded apartments for.

I completely understand what you are saying about the overpriced very small upgraded apartments. My lease is up at the end of August and I am strongly considering moving. I'm just curious what you found in the area (especially with the roman tub!) ; - ) Thank you.
