Rented a 2 bedroom apt.
NO Pantry in Kitchen. No real storage capability in Kitchen.
NO Linen Closet. The only place for towels and bed linens, blankets, etc is the 1 shelf available above the washer and dryer.
NO walk in closets.
Both bedroom closets very small. Impossible to try to organize to also fit linens, etc.
If you have a cat, the only place for the litter box is the coat closet by the front door.
Be aware that if you rent the apartment where the flood light for outside the building is installed, when this flood light is on, it creates day light in your bedroom. Management is unwilling to work with you on any knd of solution so you can sleep at night.
The apts are ALL electric. The space heaters in each room are quite old and heat from PG&E is VERY Expensive.
In 6 months there have been 2 Managers and 3 Asst Mgrs.
They currently have a very high number of empty apts.
Two of the Mailbox areas have been broken into in 6 months.
Several cars have been broken into as well.
Mgmt attitude is to be very cheap; do next to nothing for the residents. My rent was raised at the end of 6 months even considering current low economy in PDX and their very high number of empty apts. Moving is definately an option.

I understand your issues with the management. I would be a bit upset, as well. But, can I ask why you moved into your particular apartment if it didn't suit your needs? You can't really say that this is a bad place to live based on the fact that you chose your apartment poorly.
