I lived at The Lakes for about a year and half and loved it. The office staff was friendly, as well as the maint. staff. The grounds were kept up nicely and at least they have grounds to keep up - there isn't a complex in that area with a tree or grass to speak of other than the lakes. It's a pretty big complex, but every time I was in the office they new my name, I liked that. Some of the other responses I've read just don't describe the Lakes I know, but then, angry people are always more willing to speak up than those like me who really enjoyed living there. And for those of you who rated down parking, I ask why' You get a spot with your apartment - why complain about that'
