I have been living in the same apartment for approximately three (3) years. I am quite happy. I do not have an apartment facing the "lake", so I do not have the personal experience to comment on the smell, animals, or insects (as mentioned in other reviews).

Initially, I admit the staff was lacking in follow-through when I moved in--at least those that I had the "pleasure" of dealing with, but those associates are long gone. There had been other staff members that had come and gone that I appreciated, along with the current staff who also appear competent.

Now, I'm not too high maintenance, so again...my experiences are limited, but my maintenence requests have been addressed immediately, the grounds have been kept clean (with the exception of the trash area). The management group may want to consider more frequent pickups, as tennants simply fill space around full bins rather than walking to another. I like the fact that the grounds are quiet, and also that there are ducks, squirrels, and birds that I can feed right at my front door.

My primary complaint is the other tennants living around me. Most are very nice and considerate, but there have been some very noisey and inconsiderate people living here...but I like it, and I'm staying.
