Some people like everything new and 'white'. This place may not be for them. The apartments are older, and this has its ups and downs. A big UP is all the trees, with plenty of shade and oxygen. Look around... not many apartment complexes have trees anymore. Another big UP for me is the great location, with Emergency, schools, shopping malls, food, all within walking distance. A down is sometimes you might have trouble with your toilet (I never have), or a window might need repair, little things like this, due to age. The maintenance guys are typically very prompt and helpful with these issues. Water, sewer, and garbage service are very affordable as well. The club house is really great (theatre room, work-out room, very inexpensive tanning, awesome indoor pool, jacuzzi, newly redone sauna, shower/locker rooms, vending machines, pool table, computer room with internet); Parking isn't so great for larger vehicles, so if you drive a Hummer, you might be SOL. In conclusion I personally feel you have to weigh the ups and downs depending on your priorities, and for me this place is a good meantime until I can afford a house next summer. Happy hunting!
