Do not move into the Overlook; aptly named because they overlook everything! This property is awful! It looks beautiful, but only the landscaping is well-maintained (and that's outsourced, of course). The pool was unusable most of last summer due to algae. The manager is almost never on site, and the office staff is completely unhelpful and uncourteous. Extremely unresponsive to maintenance requests. Our dishwasher flooded our kitchen, the dryer was a complete dud - we had to dry small loads at least twice! And can you say MOLD!' We couldn't keep the mold from around our windows even with bleach! Our car was broken into due to inadequate lighting in parking areas bordering a bushy ravine! Beware of the no security deposit "deal" because they'll try to fleece you when you move out - they will bill you for normal wear and tear! If you want a pretty apartment complex there are many others out there where you'll be treated soooo much better for an equivalent amount of money!! Run away from the Overlook as fast as you can and look somewhere else.
