Horrible, look elsewhere

I have lived here for over two years now and at first I never had a problem here, I actually quite liked it, for apartment living. Since the new management has taken over, I've been told they has my rent check and then days later recieved an eviction notice. I had called because my check hadn't cleared and they told me not to worry about it, then I recieved notice and it was time to worry about it. I've gotten notice for work on the building and then told it was on a certain day, so I arranged for my dog to be put away, then they called and told me they were entering my apartment in a half an hour on a day that was not scheduled. And I recieved a package in the mail and it got delivered to the office, I had a notice in my mail box and when I went to the office to retrieve it they had lost it and told me they never recieved it. I called the company and had them re-send my package and magically when I went to pick it up a second time, they had both of them. These apartments are horrible and the management needs to learn how to do their job correctly or hire new. I will not renew a lease here and I advise everyone else to not even sign one here. Plus, when someone parks in your spot, they don't tow it. All they do is put a note on the car and you have to hopefully get lucky enough to find a visitor parking because there are so few here and if not park on the street. Half the time the lights in the parking lot are off so there is little to now lighting in the lot and they're constantly letting the water run from the complexes for something or other and the tenents pay for it!

I agree..the first year was great. The new management company sucks! Lots of exterior fixups, but relations are broken and falling apart like a 1920's tenament building.
They also lost one of my checks; I went on vacation and they told me no problem on signing the new lease when I got back; I got back and they raised my rent. Parking blows! Too bad because I really liked the location and apartments.
Oh, also my water bill went up from $30 to $50 and I was gone 2 weeks in August! Many complained and the management even sent out a letter explaining that the bill was tied to everyone in the building and that was in effort to get everyone conserving water-bull. If apartments aren't rented then my bill goes up because they split a bill among all the residents-bull. Why should I have to pay for my neighbor that has 3 people living in an apartment and they don't conserve water...wrong!
I even wrote a nice review of the place in July and this is what I got. I left the place nicer than when I found it and recieved a bill for repairs.
No worries I moved and saw a lot of people who moved out.

Wow guys same here. After 2 years here they are asking me to remove my dog and David Diaz threatened me with legal action over the dispute. There was a typo on a pet agreement that said my pets name was "No pet". That contract expired over 1 year ago and we since signed a new contract.

You're lucky they told you they weren't coming in. With us they said they would come in, and we had to put our cats away, then they didn't show up! No notice as to why they didn't come in or anything, just didn't show up. Then when I called and said forget it, and that they didn't have permission, they show up. This happened three times! Everything you said is right on! Don't move here!
