Sorry to bash these apartments, especially after the blow of being on the news because a girl was stalked/raped there, but now that we've moved out, we have to warn other people!

Now this rape could have happened anywhere, but with better security patrol it might have been prevented or the guy could have been caught, at least maybe)...and that's not the only thing that has happened here.

The neighbors are loud and rude, we heard people always screaming and playing loud music at all hours. Security patrol never did anything when we called. San Remo needs to do BETTER RESIDENT SCREENING!

While we lived there our car was broken into, and other people got their cars completely vandalized (they caught the guy who did it and evicted him, but we heard from maintenance that he was still on property because all of his friends live there. A MORE SECURE apartment property wouldn't have allowed this to happen, or these losers to move in!)

The first day we moved in there were police everywhere with their guns out, and although the police were there, it didn't make us feel safe! We never found out why they were there, but police often came around the apartments, and it made us wonder why...

We were also nearly given an apartment with moldy carpet and not allowed to see it until the day we moved in, and we had to DEMAND that they replace the carpet...

We never felt safe and couldn't wait to move out. Now, we are in a place downtown POrtland with security patrol always around!! The last place we lived before had security and they NEVER had cars vandalised or broken into!

It just seems like San Remo wants to keep the residents so desperately - so what about SPENDING MONEY TO HIRE FULL-TIME SECURITY AND SCREENING YOUR RESIDENTS BETTER''' And respecting the GOOD residents that you have by committing to keep out bad ones, even if it means raising your prices'

It's not rocket science. If you try and get good residents, you can get them. If you attract losers, don't wonder why you are losing money!
