I am sick and tired of reading bad reviews from people on this site. its one thing after another that does not meet THEIR expectations. Two things people: 1)NO ONE is forcing you, you are grown up (may not always seem like it) and should be able to make right decisions on your own. 2) If you expect to hear no noises from your neighbors, then GET A HOUSE!!! its an apartment complex and it will NOT be perfect...DEAL WITH IT!

I moved here form Eugene a year ago and after searching for a month based on the proximity to work and rent amount, I have decided to choose Walker Square. The manager was the another reason why I chose this place. She was straight up and very helpful from the beginning. Their maintenance policy is great, even though I only used it a couple of times. I lived in many places before and not everyone offers it, so I like the effort!

Some things that I want to thow out there to be completely fair. Parking is not great if you have more than one vehicle or have guests, BUT you do get an assigned spot. There is no fitness center, pool or club house. There is however, a play ground and Tualatin Hills Park is right next to the complex.

I believe that you get what you pay for and Walker Square has exceeded my expectations!!!

No they're not forcing anyone to live here, but they refuse to show you your apartment before you move in. That's how they stuck me 20 feet away from Walker Road. Even in the shower with the water and fan on, I could still hear traffic. And it's not true that all apartments are as crappily built as this one. The next place I moved to was built properly and I NEVER heard a peep out of my neighbors. I still remember living at this Walker Square dump.. the horribly squeaking floors, shoddy maintenance, kids running rampant among parked cars in the parking lot, the thin & hollow walls and doors that do nothing to insulate sound, the non-stop traffic from Walker Road, the dishonest management (when I lived there), the lack of covered parking above all the assigned spots, visitors and neighbors stealing my assigned spot when I'm gone, and on and on. The only good thing about this place is the location, and the low price, but you get what you pay for, remember that when looking at the low price. There are MUCH better places to live. They may cost an extra hundred a month, but it's well worth it. I cannot say enough bad things about this place, it is the worst place I have ever lived by far, and I've lived in barracks in the Army! No I was not evicted from this hell-hole, I gritted my teeth and waited until my lease was up. I left honestly, and I wouldn't move back to Walker Square if they paid me double the rent each month to live there. I suggest all the residents there stop living in denial and look around at other apartments, you will be surprised how much better they are, and how much happier you will be.

I just moved to Walker Square and it is not bad at all. yes i understand that there will be noise but you know what... you are in an apartment, NOT A HOUSE! I was able to see the apartment before I moved in and the location, I dont know who EPA316 met with but the management was great and I had a beautiful time touring and getting to know the area. I would say that I chose a great place to live and to call home. Yes there is limited parking but i believe there is a comfotable amount of guest parking, and yes there is no pool or fitness center, but really I dont care cause I dont use it! I mean who would really use it each and everyday, especially here in Oregon, I just find it a waste to pay for an apartment with a gym and pool and not use it at all.. so if your specifically work or a student, i think this is a great place for you,.. I live in an apartment right next to walker road but the traffic never bothers me, I just think EPA316 was just not happy at all! i find it really comfortable here and I plan on staying here until i can not afford it or until i buy a house! It really is a great place to stay!!!!

To the original poster: Many different tenants posting here can't be wrong. When you have 1 review, that's one thing. But when you have multiple people saying the same thing, something's gotta ring in your ears. Try searching other apartment complexes on this website with better and MANY ratings and then physically go there and visit, and you will see a difference. I found a MUCH better apartment complex, with near 100% rating from over 15 ratings, and the best part is it includes all the extras like pools, workout room, FREE Comcast cable, AND it's for about the same price. I've been living there for 2 years now and never had any problem.
