#1- I can't believe they still have not cleaned up the mold. I brought this up with management when I lived there and they insisted it did not exist. However, my kids and I had respiratory problems for the duration of our lease. If you live here and suspect you have mold, call your local environmental protection agency and ask about having your place tested.
#2-And yes they will try and rip you off when you leave. Do make a video tape and do a walk through before you leave. If they still try and over charge you don't pay it-let them know you'll pay what you honestly owe and nothing more. They tried to charge me $400 or so for removing books and a printer I left in the apartment. I refused to pay this amount and they removed this ridiculous charge from what I owed them.
#3-Before I moved in I was very adamant about needing a downstairs apartment. When I arrived to sign my lease and move-in they only had an upstairs unit. The ol' bait and switch technique for filling up vacant units nobody wants to rent.
**The only positive thing about this place is the maintenance staff who was always very helpful. Also, they did let me keep my car parked in front of my apartment for about a week until it could be fixed.

You dont know what you are talking about. I had moved here a year ago, and I am still here. There is only a mold issue if you don't keep the moisture out, every apartment complex in Oregon that I have lived in had a mold issue and honestly I have not had one here once.
I was taken cared of when I moved here, I was told specifically where the apartment would be, she even showed me the location and pointed out the apartment because someone was still living there. When it came available to see, she was not hesitant on showing me the apartment. I was very impressed with the professionality she had because once it came available she called me, I did not have to call to see it!
The manager, the weekend person, and maintenance are the only 3 people who work there, and I have no problem with any of them. I once had a broken washer on the weekend and there was no maintenance available, but the weekend girl got me taken cared of. She found someone who could come in to fix it for me! Bless her! When it snowed last year, there was an unbeliveable amount of snow out, the weekend person and the maintenance were outside shoveling the snow so we would not trip or fall and hurt ourselves! I thought they were awsome because that was the first time I had seen management care about their residents!
So honestly, if you want a perfect place to live.... BUILD A DAMN HOUSE, because nothing will be perfect for you until you fix your damn attitude!
