Nice until you try to park or get info out of the management office

When I moved in I thought that it was a great place. The parking was tight with two cars, and occasionally someone would even steal my one assigned parking spot. But to try to get maintenace to fix something was something of a joke. There was no screen in the bedroom window. It took three trips to even get a screen that fit in the window (and at least two weeks). Then there was a gap so it was pretty much useless. And the shower dripped constantly- they never were able to fix that either.
Then when my circumstances changed and I inquired about breaking my lease, I was told (repeatedly) that the only thing that I would have to pay them would be my move in bonus, which was fair enough. They wrote it down to that effect, sort of. After move out, they sent me a notice saying that I owed an additional months rent as an early termination charge. When I told them that they had changed their story from what they had written, they had a different interpretation of what was written on the paper I had. And they referred me to my lease (a section I had not seen and they had not mentioned when I originally asked). They GRACIOUSLY offered to split the total amount in half and allow me to make payments on it! I ended up owing them $200 more than they said I would. I WOULD HAVE STAYED IF THEY HAD TOLD ME THE TRUTH!
Then to cap it all off, somehow my information is listed as a contact for them.
I received a collections notice (at my new address). When I called the number, they were attempting to collect from waterhouse place, through me! More recently I received a call from PGE on my cell phone, attempting to reach waterhouse place. Don't know how it happened, and if these companies have my SSN attached, I will be furious.
So all in all, this was one of the worst rental experiences of my life. (and I've had bad)
