Okay, like most people when I look at these sites and see people complaining, I figure they are just there to complain. And that people who are happy with their situation, wouldn't be leaving feedback to even the balance. Such was the case when I looked at the rating for Willow Grove a year ago before I moved in here. It had a poor rating, which I ignored and have regretted since the day I moved in. In the first week I lived here the oven/stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher had problems. The oven and refrigerator were taken care of, the dishwasher still has not. Over have of the drawers in the kitchen, didn't have stoppers and could be pulled right out. This was finally fixed after about two months of hassle. The water heater has never really stayed warm, this has also been brought to the attention of the staff numerous times and has been never rectified. The bathroom sink and tub had both repeatedly had problems draining, despite all the money I have literally thrown down the drain on Liquid Plumber, Drano, ect. Some of these problems I can understand, with normal living in a place. But it seems to be a curse that every time I turn around, something else is broken. The office/maintenance is next to useless and even after bringing specific problems to their attention over and over again, they would never get fixed. It does appear that the management has shifted to new owners in the past 2 or 3 months, and to be fair I haven't had much experience with them. But after being burnt out by dealing with such incompetence for so long, it almost didn't seem to matter any more. On the positive side, the location is great being so close to Beaverton transit center. I have also never had a problem with any of my neighbors. It feels pretty safe and the parking is decent. But I do feel they are a bit overpriced, not even taking into account any of the aforementioned. If I have any advise to give, it is to heed this one warning. I am not here simply to ----- or complain, I honestly don't want to see someone make the same mistake I made.
