I've lived in Squires Court twice now in the coarse of a couple of years, once with my parents in a three bedroom two bath and again with a room mate in a two bedroom two bath. My first experience with the place was blissful ignorance, albeit I was constantly having to listen to my parents complain about how the management was horrible, parking an absolute nightmare as their mini-van had been struck multiple times by people parking too close and whacking it with their doors, not to mention having the maintenance people called out because they'd rather patch a problem than fix it. That was when I didn't have to really care about anything!

My next experience with Squires Court, I'd gone back because I remembered my parents got a damn good deal on a year lease with them and hoped (though never got) to score a similar deal, was one of pure agonizingly frustration! My move in date was post-poned a week because the water pipes burst in the kitchen. That's understandable, annoying, but understandable. Shortly after moving in I'd found that they had replaced the floors, but none of the cabinets and most, if not all, had water damage and mold problems. Maintenance called immediately and didn't arrive for four days before I called them again and it still took them until the next day to show up! Similar problem in the bathroom, around the toilets and in the tubs, mold and just general filth. The back balcony had rotted boards, called maintenance and they came out and did nothing about it. The floors were spotty and the place reeked to high heavens! I lived there for a little on six or seven months and couldn't stand it anymore. The management was ghastly inefficient with dealing with things, though polite if that makes up for anything, the maintenance a slouch, and while living there my red Nissan Sentra had the letters "BK" (for Blood Killers) scratched across the hood and sides of my car, simply for being RED!

I work night shifts so I'd be coming home at strange hours in the morning, and not once had I ever come back to Squires Court in peace. There was always some woman screaming at someone, cars squealing out the drive. I don't know about most, but when I'm laying my head down after a 10 hour shift in a hot factory at 3AM I'd like to get a little sleep and not listen to my neighbors scream about how unfaithful the other is for three or four hours before one bolts off in their car only to come back and do it again the next night!
