Yo!

Very Nonresponsive Staff, Looks Good but NOT Recommended

I love the look and feel of the apartments - kind of a lodge/vacation feeling to me, relatively decent view, off the main street, and I have one car so no parking issues whatever. HOWEVER, I would NOT recommend for the following reasons:

1. Management is EXTREMELY unresponsive. Could not get them to return a phone call for my life whether to give me a move in date or deal with a maintenance issue. Have had over a week go by without so much as a "yes we got your maintenance request." Would be OK with scheduling non-urgent things even a week or so later but only if they TELL you. They have also had maintenance staff enter without leaving any clue that they were there.

2. Walls are paper thin - you can hear neighbors argue, have sex, etc. Clearly. Every time.

3. When sitting in the dining room I have noticed that every time the people upstairs flush the toilet it's loud and clear to my dinner guests.

4. My impression of the model is it's very nice, but that they don't bother keeping up with the actual units. Water heaters are so old they're starting to leak (per office staff) but instead of just replacing a few every month they're waiting till they flood to replace (also per office staff). Appliances are cheapest possible, and quite old. My W/D sound quite sick. I was told my unit would have an upgrade in dining area - chair rail and designer paint below it - which I would have preferred not to pay for but ok fine, except "designer paint" is seafoam green - ICK!

OVERALL: If you like the layout and don't mind hearing your neighbors and fighting like tooth and nail for maintenance, the units are a little less expensive than comparable surrounding ones. Don't park on the dead end street, cars get broken into there a lot but I've never seen a problem in the actual lot. Not as much visitor parking as led to believe but workable. I personally don't think this complex is a good choice but I wouldn't move out for those reasons alone, just wish I had picked differently.
