Mixed feelings...

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I loved living in Squires Court. All our neighbors were very nice people and the area was nice. Some of the office staff turned somewhat unpleasant after we became tenants (probably assuming they had no reason to turn on the charm since we were already renters), but others were very kind all the time. The only real problem we had was with cars getting broken into. Ours never did, and I'm assuming because they only broke into cars they knew would not have a security system, but it still made me think twice about parking there. Other than that, I had no complaints.
However, when my husband and I moved out of there, they really cheated us on our deposit. They charged our ENTIRE DEPOSIT and then some to replace doors that were not damaged, on top of normal wear and tear charges. That was almost $500 in damages which baffles me because we maintained that apartment very nicely AND spent three days cleaning it when we moved out. All I have to say is, it would probably be in your best interest to have some sort of proof of the state of your apartment upon moving out, just to protect yourself.
