Stay away from Squires Court. Especially if you have pets. We moved after being in the place for 5-months. They signed a statement that we left the place in good condition. A month later we got a bill from them for $1900.00, stating that our dog had peed over 150 times on the carpet. They stated that it was in such bad condition that they had to replace the subflooring along with with carpet. Our dog was a well-trained 9-year old lab, never have we had problems with him peeing on any of our carpets. There were many places they had circled where they said our dog had peed, but these were places that we had our furniture sitting. We disputed the claim and they sent it to collections, which is now on our credit report. I am in the process of disputing this now. If you decide this is the place for you, cover your butt. Take pictures, lots of them and hope for the best when you move out. Good luck, but I highly recommend you stay away from this place.

These people are crooks, I had a very similar experience and have heard multiple people that have gone through the same thing with Squire's Court. Thank you for posting your thoughts, hopefully it'll help people in the future!

I find it very entertaining that people seem to think apartment communities are "crooks" because they charge you for flooring and carpet costs when your pet potty's on the floor. Animals have accidents, every pet owner knows this. Your pet is like your child you are responsible for damages they create. Maybe people should think of this before they move into an apartment with a pet.

Point well taken, then if any of you with children or animals are considering renting from Squires Court??.STOP! If you have children or animals, you will pay several thousand dollars to stock their apartment with new carpet and sub flooring. That is what they did to us and that is what they will do to you. Fortunately, I do not trust apartment managers and so I took many before and after pictures, which shows absolutely no damage to the carpets. Check the Better Business Bureau on the management company that runs Squires Court and beware! Good luck, and take precautions that will protect you when you move out!
