The overall layout of the apartment is great and easy to get around. Not much counter space in the kitchen and the master bath door gets in the way often. What I have a problem with and I don't know if any other bottom floor resident has this problem but all I hear, every waking (and sleeping) moment is what my upstairs neighbor is doing. I can here wherever they go, every step and toilet flush they make. It's pretty disgusting. Picture frames fall off my walls and I'm afraid my kitchen light fixture is going to fall off any moment. It probably doesn't help that they never leave there apartment either. I can't wait to get a home of my own... WITHOUT the people who go BUMP in the night!!

We've spoken with management to get this problem fixed and that was last year. Their excuse is they need the funds for the tool that fixes the squeaking. Not only has that not happened yet but I don't think it will fix the whole problem!

I'm currently a resident and have lived here for a year and 8 months. I'm putting my 30 day notice in today! I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT OF HERE! I've complained over 20 times about my rude and loud upstairs neighbors and nothing has ever been done about it. It has been unbearable! They are actually playing their music really loud right now while my child is trying to take her nap! I hate this place!!!!!!

I'm the current manager here at Sunnyside Place. When I started here, there were definitely some noise issues with certain residents that needed to be worked out. Fortunately, the above-mentioned residents were dealt with and are no longer living here. Unfortunately, due to laws that are in place to protect resident privacy, it's difficult for us to give too much information on the steps we are taking to rid our community of these problems to other residents. The above resident was made aware that their neighbors were moving out prior to the expiration of their 30 days notice but unfortunately, they had already found a new home. We hate to see that happen and wish we could have been here sooner to solve that problem. Rest assured that when you register a complaint, we handle it as soon as possible but we can't always give information on what exactly takes place because of rights to privacy. I'm hopeful that based on conversations we had after the above posting, this resident has changed their view a little bit regarding their situation.
