Poor Management and Construction

First I'll start with the management. Of course they are nice, until you sign. After that they have no interest in accomodating you. Leave your pool/mail keys in the 'clubhouse'' $75. Pay rent on the 5th' 10% late fee ($90). If you're used to any consideration from previous management you can forget about it here.
Now for construction. The building shakes anytime someone closes a door or has a washer running. Any music or lively conversation from a neighbor will make it into your apartment. There is a HUGE mold problem! I have had a leak in my roof that still comes back. The front door does not close unless it is locked. They also use the cheapest of everything in the apartments. The appliances are bottom of the barrel (stove overcooks everything, freezer too cold or too warm, washer has only most basic settings). The new carpet my apt had was also very short and cheap, already showing wear after 4 months. The linoleum is permanently scuffed and stained. There is also a shortage of guest parking (only 1 spot assigned to each apt) Obviously I will be moving when my lease expires.

I lived at Twin Creeks for 6 years and had none of these issues. I paid rent on time and therefore incurred no late fees. I did not leave keys laying around that I had to pay to replace. The kind of problems this person is having would happen at any well managed apartment. Anytime I had problems with noise and/or maintenance it was always handled promptly and professionally.

Twin Creeks management was crap, after you signed your lease. And to break your lease, like I did, cost two months rent plus everything they could find wrong with the apartment. When all was said and done it cost me 2200 just to move out. I would never reccomend this place to anyone. The parking sucked, I could hear everything my Russian neighbors would say in their living room, and while they claim to be "Pet friendly" I would get blamed for all the dog ---- everywhere, when i was actually the responsible one. What a crap hole, good luck to anyone who decides to live there.

After reading this I actually asked every office I went to while looking at apartments what they charge for a lost clubhouse key. Almost all of them said there was no charge (some even laughed), one place charged $20 for an electronic key card, not $50 for a .99 cent basic key.
