Please, don't move here!!!

My daughters and I moved into Twin Creeks in 2005. I have to agree that the review about management was correct. They are very nice to you before you move in. We had numerous problems with our neighbor upstairs. And management was not helpful whatsoever! All they said was that they cannot tell my neighbor to keep the noise down. What kind of garbage is this' If you are management and your tenants do not comply with the rules, you contact them and make them quiet down. And the neighbors downstairs were obviously doing drugs, their place reeked of weed mixed with cigarette smoke. And their kid always peed in the grass whenever he was taking their dog out. I complained and management did what' Nothing.
We recently had a family emergency and had to move out of Twin Creeks and in with family. The long list of things to clean before leaving was totally laughable! I lived on the second floor and they expected me to clean the OUTSIDE of the windows' These were things they just set people up for loosing their deposit.
When I moved in, I made sure I told them that I will sometimes care for my sister s dog. I specifically asked if I have to pay a second pet fee and was told that I do not have to. For four years was ok to care for my sisters dog without paying the additional fee and now, that I moved out, they sent me a bill for it. Not to mention they decided to change the 10-11 year old carpet and sent me the bill for it. I also had to move out in the middle of the month and they managed to keep the full month s rent, after they told me they will pro-rate it. Plus, they charged me for cleaning, when the apartment was cleaner when I moved out then when I moved in (I had five people clean that apartment from top to bottom. I even did paint touch-ups wherever was necessary). And they added on some more charges for things that were damaged before I moved in. But the person who lived in that apartment before us was one of their own so, how could they charge one of their own for the damages, just stick it to the next tenant.
These people do NOT care about you and how much you might loose when you move. It was very apparent that they didn't care a whole lot about anything after what we went through with our neighbors.
Noise is a HUGE problem at this complex. They don t even enforce the 10 o clock quiet hours. Management does not care. All they care is for you to pay your rent and that s it.
We lived near a outdoor hot tub which we ALWAYS were woke up by crazy people going into the hot tub in the middle of the night! But because they advertise that the pools and hot tubs are open 24 HRS A DAY they cannot kick people out unless they are not tenants.
The appliances are the cheapest I ve ever seen. I was never able to wash dishes in the dishwasher, because it never washed the dishes. They were filthy, even after 3 washes. The washing machine ripped a lot of my clothes, no matter how big or small the load was. The dryer had to be run more than once for a load, because it never dried (I cleaned the screen after every single load). And whenever maintenance work was done, it was always a band-aid job. Never done properly. And the gym room' That is a sorry excuse for a gym. They have three machines that are older than me and they are broke most of the time. And when they do work, they have a mind of their own, you cannot set them the way you want.
I contacted the Better Business Bureau and, as far as they are concerned, the management company owning these apartments went out of business. Nobody can get a hold of them. I did try. I asked the manager for a phone number for the company who owns the complex and I was told that there is none. If I needed to get in touch with them, I cannot do it in person. I will need to write a letter and give it to her. Yeah, right! So, who are these people' Who is this ghost company who owns these apartments' Nobody knows.
I am just sorry I did not read these reviews before we moved in. But I hope it will help those who consider moving in. Please, run as far away as possible. This is not a place to live. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
