Had to get a 2-bedroom which is ridiculously overpriced for Corvallis, as there were no 1-bedrooms left. I had read bad reviews online about getting screwed on the damage deposit. The "Studio" apartments are more like solitary confinement at Alcatraz, and you can hear a mouse fart through the paper walls. Slum Lord - my boyfriend had lived there several years now ~ they raise the rent every 6 months, will not repair drawers that you have to hold in place or they will fall on the floor otherwise hurting your feet and toes. The 'wall paper' that is on the pressed wood (the cabinets) is bubbling up in spots, the egdes are exposed.
