I made initial inputs on 1/27/04; it is now 03/11, and I have withdrawn my recommendation of this ?new? dump because of management/bldg construction. The mildew in my closet remains, with no estimate as to when it will be resolved; I had to remove all clothing from that closet. Parking remains a big pain, and recently I now have to contend with driving around cars illegally parked next to my parking spot. They obviously park there late at night, in the fire lanes, in areas clearly painted no parking zones, and behind their friends? parking spots. Management provides plenty of patronizing lip-service, but nothing gets done. I would appreciate fewer free snacks in the office, fewer useless flyers asking for detailed maintenance requests (which aren?t corrected in a timely fashion), and more professional support for $$$ I pay to ?live? here. The construction of this place is shoddy and cheap - typical Corvallis. Noise is a big problem if your neighbors like to play their music loudly or with lots of bass - the cheap construction funnels the noise very effectively. (I am not dumping on my neighbors - overall they're a good bunch) "Quiet hours" are a joke. Management allows tenants to do oil changes in their parking spots - oil spills apparently aren't a concern here. Most depressingly, I cannot recommend where else to move, as I've lived in four different places, and all were overpriced and cheaply built. Sorry to be a 'downer', but I'm providing facts.
