Note: This WAS a positive review but I'm changing it due to my recent BAD experience with Grand Oaks. Grand Oaks is a nice place to live but be very careful when you move out. We left our apartment sparkling clean, as we've left all our previous apartments, and we expected to get our security deposit back as usual. However, this was not the case at Grand Oaks Apartments. The current manager took advantage of the fact that we couldn't be present at the final walk-through and she nit-picked and invented a list of things that we had supposedly missed. We not only lost our security deposit, but had to pay extra.
It is very disappointing as we had been very good tenants for 3 years and had had a very good experience up until this incident. Because of this, I cannot recommend Grand Oaks.

Great review, and I definitely agree. I've lived at Grand Oaks for a few years and have absolutely no complaints. When I first moved in there was quite a bit of noise from the construction of a new condo complex adjoining our building, which was a bit annoying but, since their completion about a year ago, my wife and I have both been very happy with our decision to live here -- I'd definitely recommend it to a friend. A quick note: if possible, get a unit with a view of the Cascades; the view is amazing morning, noon and night.
