I just found this site. I am cracking up. I lived at Applewood in 1999 and still hearing the same complaints I had with the place. The manager was never available. When I moved they tried to charge me for everything under the sun. $75 for new drapes because the hem had come out of about 2 inches of the bottom. New carpet because I had a pet, even though I paid a pet deposit and I found out from the next tenant no new carpet was installed. They are so full if it, and YES they will charge you for every speck, spot or mark you can't even see with the naked eye. I also know of one tenant they charged cleaning fees to even after she produced evidence that she paid a professional cleaning company after she moved. Oh, and let's not forget the constant noise, the lovely beep beep of forklifts from Home Depot, that I woke up to every day. The place was Hell on Earth, I would only recommend it to somebody I really hate. And one last thing. I have to wonder how the management has time to respond to every comment posted here. Doesn't she have a job to do'''' I think the lady doth protest too much.

That is funny because management has changed several times and the manager we have now has been at applewood 5 years I think she said .The longest a manager has been at Applewwod. That might say something. She does a very good job. We are glad we have her and the repair guy. And if you guys wouldn't trash your apartment you might not have so much to complain about.
