I wish I had seen this site before I ever moved in. I was a tennant at Applewood for a year and was absolutley awful, The manager was an absolute -----. She was rude and took us for alot of money said they needed to replace all the carpet in the apartment and came to find out from our neighbor that they did not replace all the carpet they replaced the livng room and charged us for all. On top of that they charge a outrageous cleaning fee and the person that comes in and cleans is one of the tenants. I cant believe that someone wrote a good review,I think it was management writing it to be honest. For the price of rent the noise you can hear through the walls and the traffic you could get alot nicer apartment, plus we did not get hardly any of our deposit it back, and the walkthrough sheet she gives you in the begingi is a joke compared to when you leave, when we moved in we did not have to pull out the refrigertor or stove and thats what you have to do when you leave the list of things they want you to do is OUTRAGOUS!!!!! GET A LIFE APPLEWOOD QUIT RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!!

If you trash your apartment then dud you will have to pay for it. It is your fault if you didn't fill out your move in sheet properly. The aparments are clean when you move in. And if they aren't then they will make sure it is I am sure. And as far as the carpet goes. They would not change one room and not the others. It just wouldn't happen.If you had a problem you should of addresed it with the manager. SHe does show you receipts for everything also that is done to the apartment. AS far as the cleaning goes you are told when you move in and out that you will be charged $25 an hr for anything that has to be done to the apartment and if you look at your contract you would know that you.You might also want to remember that you live an apartment and you will hear noise. Most people are aware of that before they move in.These are apartments not houses and they do have a lot of tenants to look after.

A defensive manager that spends all her time online responding to evey negative comment is not someone I want to live with. It's seems as if a child is running this place. I will be looking elsewhere for a much better apartment. Thank you, apartmentratings.com!
