There are pros and cons with this apartment complex, just like any other place.
Pros:
* Large bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen
* Tons of counter space in kitchen and bathrooms
* Nice deck on upper floors
* Cats allowed
* Manager has always been very friendly and helpful, although I haven't consulted her much
* Neighbors are nice and for the most part, quiet
* Market of Choice across the street!
Cons:
* Major ant problem year-round. When sitting in the living room, I find them crawling on my legs like fleas... disgusting. And the problem isn't because I leave food out or haven't tried traps. I have poison set in every corner of the apartment, nothing works! There are thousands of them and they just keep comin'!
* HIGH electricity bills due to lack of insulation. The other day they were washing the windows and water just poured in through the cracks, getting all over the floor and our dining table! The window was CLOSED.
* The walls are completely thin. I've lived in many apartments and this is the worst place for that. I hear our male neighbors' every grunt, fart, pee, etc. I can even hear their entire conversations if it is quiet in my apartment. Completely embarrassing to imagine what they've heard me say and do.
* Don doesn't seem as nice to me as everyone says he is, perhaps I'm too young for his liking. While power-washing the apartments he refused to stop while I walked to my car, so I got a mist of dirty water in my face. Thanks, Don.
* Very tiny 'gym' shoved in the corner with a pool table. People who are playing pool tend to get annoyed when you're running away on the treadmill, making a lot of noise.
* Delta HWY and Beltine intersection is very dangerous. There are accidents coming home pretty much every day. Plus, it's so far from downtown Eugene.
Anyway, I wrote a lot for the negative stuff because that is what tends to get me going. It's an average place to live when you're in between real homes.

The ants are horrible! We have them, too! They fall from the ceilings even! We are NOT renewing our lease unless something is done about them. It's ridiculous!! They treat one apartment at a time - whenever the tenant complains - so the ants just go from one apartment to the next and then back again. They need to do the whole place at once to kill them all. It's totally grossing me out! And they need to get rid of that swamp in the back, too! I am already seeing mosquito's and it's not even summer!

We had ants too! Terribly. We got Taro or Tarro (spell check) and it killed them really well. still bs since we didnt leave out food or anything. Diana is rude and is useless. Our electric bill is ridiculous as well! We bought some weather stripping and it helped with the breeze coming through the windows and doors. can hear our neighbors do everything. pee, sneeze, cough, talk, and they are jerks which doesnt help. the swamp in the back is disgusting! and I hate that they dont do a good job with maintenance. Cant wait to move out of here. also does anybody notice that the master bedroom is so huge and the other room is like a glorified closet? kind of stupid if you ask me especially if you have a roommate...what a unfair space advantage. MY FRIDGE AND DISHWASHER HAVE ALSO BROKE. THIS PLACE SUCKS.
