Quiet side of downtown

Broadway Place is a nice community that will suit the average apartment dweller. Very secure and safe, quiet neighborhood, W/D in unit, and rather new and maintained. However this place is quite pricy but which can be expected for a place like this in a college town. My biggest complaints are that there is NO frieght elevator for moving so you will have to go up some stairs to move in/out. If you went on a minor shopping spree then you will have to lug all your stuff from the garage all the way up to your apartment. I lived on the south ally side and when the sun actually came out in the summer I was cooking in my apartment. The insulation was made for winter by keeping the heat in so you can imagine. If you are cold natured then you have a winner. If you are like me and grew up in the South then you will be sweating it like usual. Did anyone in Oregon hear about ceiling fans'!' If you have a lot of friends over then they will be able to find plenty of parking in the garage and the plus is that parking is free on SAT & SUN! I lived upstairs and the worst noise I could complain about was loud music comming from downstairs but was not outside the quiet-time of 10pm to 8am, and that was not very often. I have had people live on all sides of me and I have either been lucky or they respect me as much I respect them. OVERALL, good quality place to live, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new apartment.
