I lived at Broadway Place for over 2 years and it was the best apartment I have ever lived in. The building was well maintained, problems were fixed quickly and the staff was always kind and helpful. Yes it is expensive, especially for Eugene, but worth it. I had one of the largest apartments in the building and hardly ever heard the neighbors. The only sound we heard was the guy in the studio next door and at his noise level half the state heard him. Most noise came from the street outside, which can be very load. Inside apartments do not hear this noise. The downtown area is cutem almost everything you need is in walking distance and the town is working hard to make it even better.

I will say there is a huge difference in the two buildings as far as quality. My apartment was in the north building which seemed to have been construced with more care. My friends in the south building often complained of shotty workmanship, leaking windows (something you DO NOT want in Oregon) and other problems. We never experienced this so it is something to remember when taking a place.

The only thing that Broadway could have provided was some amenities outside of the apartment, such as free parking, a gym, storage lockers, or weekend security patrol. For the price this would have been a very nice additive.
