I don't even know where to begin. I went to the office to report a disturbance from my neighbors in the middle of the night (they were "making love" so loud that I could hear them with my radio on. You may be laughing but I assure you that at 1:00am it was disgusting and anoying!) the onsite manager mocked me by asking "What kind of noises was it'" and "Exactly how long did it last'" (well I didn't know that I was supposed to time it with a stop watch!) Then she told me that she couldn't give out a distubance for tenants making too much noise "when having sex!" I told her that this wasn't the first time I had heard them, and she told me that there was nothing she could do about a disturbance a month ago.
She was extremely rude and direspectful to me. She was NOT willing to talk to the other tenants or help me at all!! In fact, when I told her that my husband and I would have to move she replied "Okay!" in a have-a-nice-day, upbeat tone of voice. Which was an extra slap in the face! She made me out to be the "bad guy" when all I wanted to do was get a good nights sleep!

Also there is never sufficient parking for their own tenants! Unless you want to park at the front office and walk through the whole complex to get to your apartment. And who wants to make that long haul carrying groceries when it's raining at night'!

Even though you have to pay water, garbage, and sewer (which they won't tell you until you sign the lease) the dumpsters are always full. They let them get so full that at night you can hear bums shuffling through it looking for who knows what.

They also love to take advantage of pet owners by charging $400 per pet! And even though they say it's refundable you can bet you won't see all of it again.

I think this place set a record...it only took them 3 months to drive us away!! I only wish that I knew about this website before we moved here.

I've heard these same complaints from more than one person, please don't make the same mistake!

Dear "Anonymous"
I lived in Creekside Village for a year, and the staff never changed in my living period. They were extremly respectful to me and my pet, and even kicked out a disrespectful man who lived below me.
The fact that people have loud sex is 1) is non of your buisness and 2) not really that big of deal if its about 30 minutes out of 24 hours.
You shouldn't be so -----retentive over something so insignificant.
The complaint I held with the tenant below me was a ligitiment complaint. Music was too loud, and he cause arguments with not only me, but with also the staff.
I have lived in three other homes since my creekside apartment, and not one company has even come close to offering everything that Creekside offered me.
Water, Sewer, and Garabge aren't even that much extra a month, and most complexes that pay for those fees charge extra amounts because they are "taking care of that for the tenant" so really you are saving money. And never once were there bums in or anywhere near the complex. And I am not sure if you are even from Eugene, but Valley River Village is one of the most upper class living areas in Eugene.
It all sounds to me that Creekside is much better off without tenants like you.

Wow Julele could you be any rudder? If I lived by someone who was so disrespectful to have sex so loud that I could hear it I would be upset too! It is simply disrespectful to your neighbors and shouldn't be treated any differently than someone who is playing their music too loud. Noise is noise and regardless of where it is coming from it still disturbs you. For the management to not make any attempt to help anonymous is ridiculous and irresponsible. When people rent accomadations from you it is your responsiblity to make sure that everyone abides by the rules in order to have a safe and comfortable living environment for all. I'm glad you enjoyed your experience there but you should be more respectful of others who perhaps didn't.

I completely agree 100% with Anonymous and SNSC!! Obviously Julele29 doesn't know what they're talking about, and must not have children. Because SNSC is right "noise is noise" and obscene noise is obscene noise. I would not want my children to hear those types of things on TV let alone at 1:00am while trying to sleep in their own beds! And it truly is a matter of respecting your neighbors. The staff most certainly should have tried to talk to the disruptive neighbors and inform them that there had been complaints.

As for this complex being in an "upper class" area of Eugene, not so. I have lived here my entire life and I still remember when they built housing in that area of town. Right across the street from K-Mart! Which is now a car dealer ship (not much of a step up, if at all). How "glamour" and "classy" the view must be from the Creekside apartments of the car dealer out one window and the freeway out another! I sure wouldn???t mind missing a breath-taking view like that. And if Julele29 thinks that???s ???upper class??? then she must have grown up in a trailer park!
