Just kept getting worse and worse

Apartment was a cheap apartment, thats obvious. What wasn't obvious was a bill for $1,100 for replacing the carpet when we moved out. The carpet was used when we moved in and they charged us to replace it! This was their responsibility because the apartment above us had a flood and stained the carpet. Even so, if they told us to replace the carpet we could have done it for a third of what they charged! Everything else on here is true! I would avoid this place like the plague! Our next step is going to small claims court to get our deposit back!

This is very interesting to me. We just moved out a coupl of months ago and they too said they had to replace our carpet and are charging us 538.00. We will be fighting this charge as well.
