My husband and I have been living at CP for almost a year now, and we CAN'T WAIT to move out! Although there are several positive points to the apartments such as they are clean, well-maintained, and in a great location, the walls are EXTREMELY thin.

Unfortunatley, we live on the top floor and one of the management staff lives below us, so we pretty much have to tip-toe and whisper all the time. Due to our hectic schedules, we stay up late and get up early. My husband especially has to work strange hours and he supposedly wakes her up every morning. She says that his walking from the bedroom to the bathroom in the mornings "is like elephants stomping around". She has complained about us multiple times and bad-mouthed us to the other staff making us look like horrible renters, when in actuality we are only making normal apartment noise. When we confront her about the complaints and try to resolve the issues between us, she goes out of her way to lie to our faces and say that she wasn't the one who complained. Because she is a member of the staff, our side of the story is not heard and we are completely under-represented. It is a total conflict of interest and the other members of the management staff always side with our neighbor. That woman has made our time here complete misery, which is extremely unfortunate because they really are beautiful apartments. I would recommend making sure that you are not living anywhere near any of the staff because you will be treated poorly if you do anything that might disturb them in any way.

In summary, if you are like us and don't mind hearing your neighbors once in awhile, I would recommend living here. But if you're anything like our helacious neighbor and have problems with hearing normal apartment noise such as footsteps above you, doors closing, or appliances running, you should either buy your own home or look for an apartment with thicker walls.
