I was stunned to read negative reviews on this place! Either I got a good location in the Park or some people are little babies and need to take a chill pill. This is the cleanest, newest place that I have ever lived (including my own homes) and the staff has been friendly and very responsive to all my requests. One person commented that they lived over the manager, which is I suppose kind of a touchy spot, but frankly I live on the ground floor too, and although I sometimes hear people moving around it is not a bother. I live next to management and she has never complained about my music (which sometimes gets a bit loud) or my late night coming and going. About 7:30 a.m. I can hear my neighbors going down the stairs, but frankly it's a welcome wake up sound. Shopko is just a couple of blocks and there's a Big Town Hero Sub shop and a Taco Bell nearby. Traffic is sometimes busy on Crescent Ave, but hardly noticeable inside the apartment (I live next to the Crescent side). Generally it's an industrial park area with high end businesses and nice office buidings. Comcast, Coke, Register Guard are all along Chad. Easy access to I-5. I've never had a problem with kids. I don't like the huge speed bumps, but it keeps the cars at 5 mph. The clubhouse is nice with a fireplace and workout area. Wide screen tv and dvds to watch!

Well, without sounding like an ad for the place, I can tell you that I have the money to buy a home, but I'm happy here until the market bottoms out. I'll be looking to buy this spring, but not in a hurry to leave here.

Sorry some people are unhappy, but I can't see a safer place for the money in the Eugene Springfield area. Some of those places around Gateway in Springfield looked a little scary to me.

Your right...You do sound like an ad. It's true that those places around Gateway Mall are bad but why the- if you don't like the United States move to North Korea tactic. If you don't like CP there are other options other than the Gateway Mall area. Your review was dumb...Chill pill?

Babies and chill pill is a little much. If your 18 and like basketball, its a great place. Awesome for students who get up at noon. But we whom work at 5am, its a nitemare. During the summer time, basketball goes till 9pm, it echoes in your living room (ground floor, right next to the court). Then after 9pm, you head to the back of your apartment, next to the stairs, and people walking up and down the stairs, gathering in the walk ways at all hours, echoes in your bedroom. Again, great if your a college student, sleep in till noon.
