I am not a resident at Forest Hills, but I know multiple people that live there now or have in the past... a week after my best friend moved in, they used the fireplace, which caused black soot all over the paint... instead of coming to fix the problem, the management said it was their problem and they were responsible for the damages... (Their apartment was not the only one that did this and this was one of the perks of moving there) The carpet was not properly cleaned upon their move in and it was a major issue to get it fixed. The walls are very thin and you can always hear neighbors no matter what apartment you live in. I had considered moving there myself in the past, but after the multiple problems I heard from different people decided to do otherwise. Another one of my friends worked nights and was awakened every day at dawn when the roofs were fixed... leaving him very tired and irritable... Parking was always a problem if anyone wanted to have a BBQ in the summer time, or even a couple of friends over for movies. The rent is INCREDIBLY over priced in versus other comparable places in town... I have heard my friends tell me, they were suckered to move in and greatly regret it... Upon move out, my friends spent hours cleaning, (I helped) and were charged ridiculous fees, so their deposit was forfeited and they had to pay above and beyond that. I live in an apartment by Autzen Stadium (Not Chase) where the rent is very affordable, and I don't have any problems!! I am very glad I didn't pay an arm and a leg to move there and have to count the days till my lease was up:)
