Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007

Hey, so I have lived in Forest Hills for close to a year, and I'm not sure all this criticism is truly warranted.
The management is young and inexperienced, but what do you expect for a large rental management corporation' They are not rude, and certainly shouldn't be labelled like wenches.
I'm a recent college grad, so maybe I have less to care about in terms of privacy and quietness.
With that in mind, I think the management, other tennants, and guests are all pretty respectful of each other.
Furthermore, the place is probably the most beautiful apartment property in Eugene, and that is saying a lot.
The yard crews do an AMAZING job of keeping this place clean, especially since nobody really picks up after their animals.
Other benefits of Forest Hills include easy access to commercial areas, freeways, and bikepaths.
The apartments themselves are huge, and not extravagently priced for the size and location (they aren't a bargain deal either, but what are you expecting').
I have had few maintenance issues, but they were all fixed efficiently and satisfactorily.
Contrary to other reviews, the parking is much better than most other places I have lived in.
For instance, has anyone lived downtown in ANY city' Try finding parking spots for your friends in that kind of environment, and you'll rethink any issue you have with walking a hundred feet to get to the apartment door.
I think people should put into perspective the limits on certain personal freedoms that are unavoidable when living in an apartment complex.
You should know that some things (like management that isn't bending over backwards for you or neighbors who never talk or move or socialize) are the same everywhere.

Lived in 15 different apartments, in big cities, and small towns. Forest Hills is in the top two worst I have ever lived in. Try more than a "100 feet to get to the apartment door" - on a nightly bases, we had to park two to four complexes away because someone parked in our assigned spot, and there was no other parking spots close by because there wasn't enough to begin with. Surprised your maintenance issues were fix so efficiently - they never did fix ours, after a couple of months of asking them to, we finally just told them to either fix the broken items in the apartment, or let us out of our lease, they let us out the lease with an apology and a full refund of our deposit. "You should know that some things are the same everywhere"....uh yeah, emphasis on "Some", which just translates as not ALL apartments are this bad. Oh, and wanting to park in your assigned spot, wanting your roof, electric and pluming to work correctly (which you pay rent for by the way), and not wanting to listen to parties at 2 in the morning, is NOT asking management to "bend over backwards", it's asking them to do their job for which our rent pays for! BTW, do you happen to work for Forest Hills?
