McKenna Estates

I lived in this complex for about three years, and would definitely recommend it to a friend. The apartments are pretty spacious, for decent rent (especially compared to a big city apartment). The managment is very friendly, helpful, and respectful. The grounds are okay, and if you luck out, you can get a pretty good view. Also, the gas fireplaces are a very nice bonus!

A few minor complaints: parking can be tricky sometimes, but there is a guest lot and plenty of street parking as well. It is definitly a college community, so there is some amount of noise and traffic, especially during football games. There are a number of dumpsters throughout the parking lots, however, they do tend to get filled up pretty quickly, resulting in garbage bags on the ground sometimes. Also, the managment does not allow smoking inside of the apartments, but each unit has a balcony, so it's just a quick step outside. Finally, without a car, it can be tricky to access most businesses, but there is a bus route that stops outside of the complex (even though it has limted access around town).

Overall, this was a great place to live, especially for a college student.
