This is my second year living at McKenna. There have been some misunderstandings with the management and a couple inconveniences, but nothing too major or what you wouldn't expect from a college area place. Sometimes you can hear the people above/below you (or they can hear you, I had to rearrange my apartment and move my treadmill) but it's in general a quiet place. Parking can be crappy, they don't ever tow people so it's frustrating when you live here and can't find a spot. I've seen one car towed in 2 years, and there are always people parked even in the handicap spots. The cats wandering around can be annoying too, two have tried to come into my apartment, and once one was under my car when I backed out and I think I ran over its leg (which was a horrible experience as an avid animal lover)... I don't get why anyone would let their cat outside just to roam a parking lot though. The unit itself is very spacious and nice though. I love it. The prices are great.

We lived there and tried to get some cars towed one night because we couldn't even park, and once again not one of the cars had a parking permit. Then the manager came out and actually STOPPED the towing!!! I mean, to not tow people EVER for parking without a permit is one thing, but to actually stop towing, and tell kids to go ahead and park there as much as they want without a permit?!?

Parking....Problems? Not anymore, with the new management company enforcing the parking rules, if you don't display your tags...you will be towed. Just ask a few unhappy vehicle owners who came back from a recent UofO football game...$250 per/auto in fees...ouch!

We were given parking spaces for one month, then they took them back. They tow cars on game day only. So if you want a free parking space come here. They will only tow you on game day.
