This place is nothing more than polished junk. Doesn't look outwardly terrible, but... The walls are cardboard and are infested with mold, the air is thick with chemicals from the Hynix factory down the street, and the staff is intrusive and very, very "fake" (all smiles as they evict your grandma). We had 4 "Inspections" or other reasons for entry in the first 5 mos. When we moved in, they tried to kick us out after 2 weeks for being "financially over-qualified," even though we both made min wage, and they had just approved us. Then when we moved out, they "lost" our last rent check (even though it cleared at the bank), then tried to evict us 7 days after putting in our 30days due to the "unpaid rent", at the same time claiming that putting in our 30days 30 days prior to the end of the lease is "breaking the lease." I think they were hoping we'd cave and they'd get to keep our deposit in full. Since moving out two weeks ago, my bronchitis has cleared up, after lasting about 9mos, also the length of our lease.

The only reason we rented in the first place was due to their acceptance of our large dog and cash/time constraints.

EDIT!!!!

So, we got our "deposit" back in the form of a bill claiming that we owe an additional $259 on top of our $650 deposit, for a grand total of $909. What for, you ask' Well... $99 take care of "fleas in carpet" (dog has no fleas, vet records concur), $550 to replace carpet for "pet urine" AFTER "pest control", $30 for "blind cleaning", $120 for "general cleaning".... ect, etc....

We cleaned the kitchen top to bottom, plus windows, blinds, bathroom, everything. On the report, everything was listed as "dirty." Carpet had dog hair in it, due to our crappy vacuum, but we never wore shoes in the place, and it was definitely not "full of pet urine".

PLUS $42 for "replacement" of "attachment" whatever the hell that means.... It goes on and on...

RUN AWAY! These people want money and have absolutely no qualms with screwing low income folks out of theirs. Evil, plain and simple.

this is exactly my situation! i almost thought i posted this! everything is exactly the way it is said here, down to the fact that i am currently moving out and the same thing happened with the "owed rent" and eviction notice. just the other day a good neighbor called to let me know there was a notice of entry on my door~ a pre-move out inspection? what is that? i thought they inspect it once i give them my keys.... but when i called to tell them i was away until the day after the date on the notice (and the time was btwn 10 am and 5 pm... thanks for wasting my time...) they said oh well, were going in anyways! and i would still like to know why the maintenance guy knew where i was moving too before i said anything....

Because our 'maintaince guy' seems to be rather co-dependant and needs a life of his own.

I need to do a printout of these responses and give them to my dr.'s, who think I'm nuts for my health complaints, won't go into great detail. But if you're health isn't great, DON'T MOVE HERE. It will only get worse. I'm leaving soon & sure I'm going to get hammered w/$$$. I know they're going to rip up my carpet (which is 3 years old) and try to charge me for it. Which by the way is the min. carpet and pad available. (Flooring pro's informed of this) Don't even spill water on it, because it will stain. Dog urine, huh? Did they test it for dog urine. Mine smelled of 20 tomcats spray in some spots and I was informed by maint. & mgmt. no one had a cat in my apt., and I don't have one, just a mutt and mutt never, ever in long years has accidents. Was watched my mgmt. & maint. while in my apt, always snooping around and constant inspections. Really enjoy the "bike gang". If you have a bike, put it up in your apt., or kiss it goodbye.

They lost my rent check a couple months ago... at first the man on the phone treated me like I was trying to swindle him until I asked him to double check the desk and he found it =o
