The tenets are rude, the leasing office staff is dam near illiterate, and they make it next to impossible to move out with your deposit. First of all, you pay a security deposit of $250-$450, then you pay $150 cleaning deposit which is non refundable. On move out I got a huge "to do" list of cleaning that included everything you can think of. Dusting lights and light bulbs, shining the faucets, etc. When I asked the leasing office folks about why I paid a cleaning deposit, they said it's for the cost of cleaning the carpet, and changing the locks. I told the lady who answered that I only lived there for like 7 months and the carpets are in perfect shape. I don't wear my shoes in the house, I have area rugs to cover heavy traffic areas and eating areas, plus I have my own steam cleaner to clean messes right when they happen. I asked why I am paying to clean carpet that's move in ready, and she couldn't answer it. I've lived in apartments in southern California for 5 years prior to living here that were much better then this dump, and I didn't have this crap to deal with at move out. Paying for changing locks when my keys say DO NOT DUPLICATE on them. Wow. Also, don't move here if you BBQ. My neighbors upstairs complained that I was smoking outside (I dont smoke)and the leasing office called me to tell me to not smoke anywhere near the house. I WAS BBQing YOU MORONS.
