I would like to warn anyone that is considering moving here of the consequences.
We lived there almost 2 years and totally regret it! the noise from maintenance is ridiculous and begins early in the morning, even throughout winter.
forget about sleeping in! Also, the walls are so thin and you can hear everything your neighbor is doing.
The staff is simply annoying and enter your apartment to frequently.
We were treated very badly by one staff member.
Also, when we moved out we were charged 1000 dollars over our deposit for CARPET cleaning! We lived there 2 years, of course there is dirt, but that feels like extortion! Do not rent here, it looks good but those looks can be deceiving! One last thing, the neighbors are really unfriendly and my roommates car was broken into twice..
Overall it is a rip off!!

I find this review strange.. a carpet clean is NOT $1000... the only way that would be charged is if a FULL carpet REPLACEMENT was needed due to extensive damage. Staff works 8 am to 5 pm... and staff CAN'T enter an apartment without proper notice or permission from a resident. The only mandadory inspection is the smoke detector checks which are completed ONCE a year and proper notice is given. River Terrace is a very nice community with staff that CARES about their residents. Most of the staff knows the residents by name. All apartment managers are bad. Every single one...NO EXCEPTIONS. The relationship by law between tenant and landlord is disfunctional. There is nohing you can do about lazy, rude apartment managers. The system allows them to be this way AND THEY KNOW IT! You show me an apartment manager that says there honest and fair and I'll show you a liar everytime.
