I did not have an issue with safety while living here, although during the time I was a resident there were apparently some car break-ins. Also, our apartment was by a dumpster and at around 4 in the morning we could hear a transient riffling around in the trash. Near the end of my stay here the management company hired security to drive around the complex at night. Since our apartment was at the end of the building, and next to a whole row of visitor parking, we did not have issues finding a spot. We did have an extremely arrogant guy for a neighbor who parked where ever he wanted (in others' assigned parking) and told his friends to do the same. We complained to the manager and they wrote him up. The place looks really nice, but many of the grassy areas are not usable for small children to play in. Also, the patios are just a small slab of concrete, and our patio was surrounded in wood chips. Every time the landscaper came around with a leaf blower, he blew chips all over our patio. The office is full of airheads who would think you were apartment hunting if you didn't tell them you were a resident. We were lied to when we first moved in because the management does not have it together. Maintenance guy was nice and friendly. Things were fixed in a timely manner, except a minor problem that wasn't really a big issue was never fixed. The inside of the apartment looked nice, but the materials to build the place were pretty cheap. The crown molding could not stand up to the humidity in the bathroom, and the walls would mark easily if a chair or something rubbed against them. You can hear the neighbors opening and closing drawers in the kitchen, footsteps in the upper apartment and people clomping up and down the outside stairs. We got about half of our deposit back. They even charged up to replace a light bulb, and because the inside of the light fixture was dirty. This is stuff that should be included as it is normal wear. I wouldn't live here again because they love to take your deposit and there are other places that are just as nice, if not nicer. This is just another development that put together real quick so that somebody could make money.
