Are you kidding' This place is GREAT!

We moved into Somerset Villas in October of 2002 and are now leaving to move to Texas. Otherwise, I would have stayed here forever! Yes, the rent is a bit steep for Eugene, but hey, the cost of living in this city makes no sense any way you look at it.
For the location, safety, beauty, well-maintained grounds and TONS of wildlife (deer, herons, ducks, wild turkeys, etc), you just cannot beat it! The manager is a very sweet and incredibly accomodating woman who went out of her way to get us settled in when we moved here from Colorado in the first place.
There is ample parking, there are great sized decks, and a ton of space! Two story apartments are unheard of in this area, so who could possibly complain' And the comment about mold that another person made... perhaps you have not lived in the Pacific Northwest for long' If you don't regularly CLEAN your home, the rain takes its toll. But yet, that being said, there was never once a problem with mold, mildew or the like in our year here.
There is not a single thing I would complain about at Somerset Villas... except the fact that it's in Eugene. If you're looking for a place in Eugene, there is no better choice than Somerset Villas. If you're thinking about moving to Eugene, think twice.
