From what everyone says bad about Commons, I had expected it to be much worse than it actually is. On most nights during the weekends, there are drunk people around, and you might hear parties, but it's nothing that you can't ignore if you want to. During the week people are pretty quiet.
Inside the apartment, there are things that are broken, and there are burn marks from a hookah on the carpet, but for a college apartment, it is better that I had expected. All of the rooms lock individually, which is also a plus.
As for the drug deals, and any of that stuff, I haven't heard much of that, so obviously it's easy to live here for 3 months and not be aware that it's happening...
