Great location that's a quick drive on the freeway to the Columbia Gorge waterfalls, beautiful view of the river, groundskeeping was well-maintained, they really do try to keep things neat and livable. The parking sometimes was an issue (with two cars) but never a deep-rooted concern. There's a sewage processing plant down by Boeing on Sandy Blvd, but there wasn't ever a smell issue, since the winds from the gorge blow from east to west (and its situated to the west of the apartment complex). Wal*mart, Target, several grociery stores & medical centers are nearby, so its extremely convenient. Some kids from the neighboring complex would be noisy sometimes, but the staff at Courtyards was always willing to listen and really will try to take care of the issue! No matter where I've lived, kids were always a noise issue anyways. It was really quiet, otherwise. The staff there was always VERY helpful and I never, EVER found them to be snooty in any way. The apartments themselves were very spacious, and we never had to use the fireplace thanks to being nestled inbetween two other apartments. A lot of the 'leaks in the walls' mentioned by the other reviewer were taken care anyways, of when the new management came in and the place recieved a lovely make-over. Sadly, although they were amiable, the old management hadn't taken care of that problem. The new management did. ;)

It was really a nice place to live and I miss it, and the people there...from the neighbors to the management. If you get an apartment here, KEEP IT. Its worth it!
