I've lived here 9 years. The recent raise in rent and change in amenities was frustrating, considering the apartment was obviously no longer in new condition. I made an appointment to see Sue, the manager, who is professional. I wrote down all of my concerns and spoke with her, and was extremely satisfied at what she offered to do to justify the raise in rent. I received an action plan that was better than the previous management offered. Perhaps if professionalism is offered up, any tenant of any length of time will receive it back.

As of the past few days, Sue is no longer working at Rivergreens, so it will be interesting to see if the next ex manager of Rivergreens (since CSM seems to be moving through them so fast) will carry through with the good things Sue said she would do?

As one of the previous managers of Rivergreens, I can attest the the fact that most people are not aware of the stress that comes with that position. It is not just CSM that goes through managers. That is what comes with the territory of that position. Sometimes managers will have the best intentions of the promises they make. But they do not own the property, so they do not ultimately decide on what happens. Make sure you get your promises in writing. That is the only way you can ensure they will be granted. Rivergreens is a VERY beautiful property and is excellently managed. Sometimes I miss it.
