I was in a position of selling my home and needed a nice place for a transition. I gave myself a year and ended up extending my lease for one additional year. My first year was pretty good. I was in one of the last buildings to be finished and had little to no neighbors, which was a plus. Then during my second year things started to become difficult for me. I had neighbor issues, one of them being an office staff and the management was flat out rude. My feeling is that this management caters to the lowest common demoniator. One person is loud means we all get snotty (poorly written) messages clipped to our door. A select few misuse the pool means we all have to resign our pool rules and go through an "orientation" or lose pool rights. I was always on time with my rent, followed all rules (including no washer/dryer or dishwasher after 10pm), and never received one complaint but I was constantly reminded to behave. The management KNOWS who is breaking the rules. These are the people who need to be reminded. I must say that I am happy to be out of this apartment community and if I ever need to seek another apartment community again, I will ask more questions about the staff since they do impact the level of comfort one feels in their home.
